‘Biden Cancer Initiative’ Spends ZERO on Cancer Research
Federal filings are showing that a cancer charity founded by Joe Biden shelled out 0 (Zero) dollars to cancer research, yet spent nearly all of its donations on staff salaries.
Founded in 2017, The Biden Cancer Initiative was launched by Joe Biden along with his wife Jill for the purpose to “develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes,” as seen on their IRS mission statement. They did not issue a single grant and they spent millions on the salaries of their staff, consisting of former Washington DC aides.
Here are the numbers:
$4,809,619 total contributions 2017+18
$3,070,301 on payroll in 2017+18.
$429,850 President Gregory Simmons’ 2019 salary
